FAMILY POOL PASS

the Family Pool Pass you pay $390.00 for the season and your family can
participate in as many activities as they wish. This includes activities such
as AquaTots, Swim Lessons, Team Sports, Leaders,
Masters Conditioning, and so much more

RED CROSS
SWIM PRESCHOOL PROGRAM
Under
the new Red Cross “ANIMAL PROGRAM” (Starfish, Duck & Sea Turtle)
Together,
mother or father and child will enjoy a 30-minute fun/safe introduction to the
water

SWIM KIDS PROGRAM
This is
an exciting 10 level program for children aged 6 and up. Learn how to swim in a
fun and safe environment. The program features water safety and swimming skills
taught according to the three guides: Prepare, stay safe and survive!
Prepare! Before you head for the
water.
Stay
Safe! While having fun in, on and around the water.
Survive! Know what to do if something does go wrong.

LIFESAVING/LEADERSHIP COURSES
LEADERS
An excellent program for your children to get involved in the
various activities at the pool.

are taught participation and co-operation in the spirit of volunteerism

NOVICE LIFE SAVER TEAM
This
program is designed for the swimmer that has completed their level 10 is not 13
years old and is not eligible to start the Bronze courses.
The
program focuses on an introduction to basic life saving and life guarding
skills, leadership and teamwork.
This
is not a Red Cross or Lifesaving Society certificate course.

BRONZE
MEDALLION & BRONZE CROSS - Royal Lifesaving Society of Canada
Students
will acquire an understanding of the key lifesaving principles embodied in the
four components of water rescue education. Rescuers learn the different types
of swimmer distress, emergency situations, tows, carries, release methods and
much more in preparation for the challenging rescues of a lifeguard.
Students
must be 13 years and up to participate in this class and if passed will receive
a certificate and / or card from the Lifesaving Society.
ALL
CLASSES MUST BE ATTENDED. MINIMUM OF 8 PEOPLE PER PROGRAM

Competitive
swimming with meets every Wednesday evening at HYC or away at West Island
pools.

WATERPOLO
INSTRUCTION

LEAGUE
This is
a great team sport with a competitive edge. For the summer season swimmers will
be introduced to water polo rules, drills and game skills in preparation for
future West Island ALPS competitions. House league games will be arranged
throughout the summer.
Atoms
will participate in an ALPS Atom Tournament at a West Island Pool. TBA.

FOR BEGINNERS
This is a developmental program for
children interested in learning the basics of Synchronized swimming routines.

A class involving warm-up, aerobic and flexibility components
under the
instruction of Pam Maguire.

ADULT
LEARN TO SWIM
For members over the age of 18 who
have no previous swimming experience. Designed for adults who want to learn the swim basics of front
crawl, breaststroke, eggbeater in the deep end and dives.
If
you are looking to get over your fear of the water, come and join one of our
lifeguards and learn how to swim

1 lane
will be reserved during Masters Conditioning Mon/Thurs. 5:00 p.m.-6:00p.m.

CREDIT.

PLAYGROUND
When your children are not swimming they
are welcome to join our animator
in
the playground and junior club house for daily activities and special theme
days.
This program is designed for sports
enthusiasts, young artists and for junior members who want to relax and make
new friends. All junior members are encouraged to participate. However,
children under the age of 7 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Members are responsible for their children
at all times.
THIS IS NOT A DAY CARE.
MONDAY/FRIDAY 9:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. (closed
for lunch 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.)
June 28th to August 20th.
The playground facilities are offered free
of charge to club members.
Participants will be asked to register
their name, address, phone number and emergency number with the playground
animator.
